A small Kyoto based restaurant run by a young husband and wife partnership contacted FIT to help them create an online presence. We were happy to help as we have known the couple for many years. The restaurant is hidden among the back streets of Kyoto and serves delightful Italian inspired cuisine. The husband creates the main course and the wife the deserts, a perfect partnership.

This site was built on a foundation of Wordpress, with a bilingual backend administration panel. Our design matches the restaurant and pre-existing logo, using vivid colours and a handmade feel. The Japanese typography was coded so that it looks good on as many browsers as possible. Analytics have shown that many Japanese users view the web on antiquated browsers, so we took a large amount of time to make sure the website functioned within this environment.

The new website will hopefully allow Clementia to gain a regular customer base. Tempting those looking for something good to eat in a quiet surrounding.
