We were approached to carry out localisation, content management, design and art direction for the Japanese version of the Ron Zacapa global website. The client had the text pre-translated however this needed to be applied to the photoshop design files. Font selection and cultural understanding were crucial for this project in order to appeal to the targeted Japanese audience.
The original translation text was not suitably done, so we localised it to fit the brand and online environment from both linguistic & design perspectives. We localised the entire site which consisted of over 20 pages. We also designed a detailed map of all the button interaction states.
